What is propagation?

DNS propagation refers to the process by which changes to the Domain Name System (DNS) information are spread or propagated across the internet.
The DNS is a system that translates human-readable domain names (like www.example.com) into IP addresses (like 192.168.1.1) that computers use to identify each other on the internet.
When you make changes to your DNS settings, such as updating the IP address associated with your domain or changing the mail server settings, these changes need to be distributed to DNS servers worldwide so that internet users can access your website or services using the updated information.
The DNS propagation usually takes 3 – 4 hours and sometimes it may take 24 hours too.
