How to change MX record for a domain through cPanel
cPanel manages your e-mail using its own mail server. However, you can modify Mail Exchanger (MX) DNS entries to route your web site’s e-mail to other mail servers if necessary. Below are the steps to change the MX records for a domain through cPanel:
Login into cPanel account and locate the option “Zone Editor”

Search for the Domain and click on the “Manage”

Locate the MX record and click on “Edit” option

Enter the new Destination and click on “Save Record”
