What Exactly is FTP?
File transfer protocol, or FTP, is a method for transferring files from one computer to another or from one server to another. You can think of FTP as the door to access your data hosted on a remote PC. With the help of FTP, you can easily upload/download data from your local PC to a remote PC. You can also directly remove content from the remote server. For accessing data from the remote PC you will need to use an FTP client such as FileZilla.
