In order to assign package to a cpanel account, please follow the following steps

1. Login to the WHM

2. Search the Upgrade/Downgrade an Account option.

3. search username name for which you want to change the package.

4. click on modify button.

5. Select the new package from the Available Packages option.Then click on upgrade/downgrade button.
